Vine House has been providing care services both long term and short respite in the Oswaldtwistle community for over 38 years. We have an enviable track record of caring for our residents, often complemented not only by families, but also nurses, visiting doctors and social workers, who place residents with us because of our track record of excellent care.

We are proud that all our care staff are full time, well trained and with a resident to staff ratio maximum of 7 to 1, so all our staff members are qualified and able to care for every resident in a person-centred way.

Our cooks produce home cooked meals that are generous, menus are well planned with input from the people who live here. We produce home baked goods and meal choices to suit all tastes with all our ingredients sourced from the major supermarkets and local suppliers.

We are a traditional style home and treat our residents like extended family. We guarantee to offer a warm comfortable environment that is for most, a real home from home, but with all the benefits of 24/7 caring staff.

We believe in promoting independence and supporting people to maintain their skills and their outside social activities, as well as joining in the social life in the Home, is key to wellbeing. Listening to people and observing changes in health is key to ensuring early reporting to clinicians and early treatment and solutions to health concerns.

All our Staff use the latest digital care plan technology which further contributes to the thorough and safe care of your loved ones. This includes a family portal so that, with your loved one’s permission, you can even see and share in their care online.
